Group tours.

With five museums, we are a popular location for group tours. We have ample parking and parking for buses and motorcoaches in the municipal parking lot on Market St. We offer tours of any and all of the five museums, as well as canal walks and historical village walks. We are able to tailor group tours to address particular themes and areas of focus such as the Underground Railroad, Women’s History, Erie Canal History, the paranormal, and more.

Facility rentals.

Our facilities have been rented for club meetings, bridal and baby showers, weddings, special dinners, galas, and more. We have a meeting space and a fully functional kitchen in the Alling Coverlet Museum for smaller groups and a large room off of this space for larger gatherings. We also have a small TV, DVD player, projector, and microphone available if needed. Consider adding a presentation from museum staff to your rental if you don’t have time for a tour.

Catering.

Many groups that tour with us or rent a space also add catering. We have served every kind of meal you can imagine. We are able to serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner; buffet-style or plated; small groups or large. Try some of our tried and true meals or bring us an idea of your own. Make your tour or event extra special with one of our meals, made with care by those with years of experience.
