Father's Day Print Project
Join Historic Palmyra for a hands-on project for Father’s Day. Participants can start at any one of our stations to start their printing project. Postcards for dad, printer hats, and other special activities will be on hand! Cost is $10pp. Kids 10 and under- free with a paid adult. The event will be held in Palmyra Print Shop on Market St.

Walk with the Spirits Paranormal Investigation
Join us for an unforgettable evening as we embark on a thrilling walk in the dark, sharing spine-chilling tales of Palmyra's intriguing history, and at the same time, explore the old cemetery and the eerie canal trail. Once we've completed our journey, we’ll return to the haunted museums on Market Street for an immersive investigation into the past, where we’ll attempt to connect with our resident spirits. To enhance the experience, guests will be divided into small groups based on the number of attendees. Paranormal equipment will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own if you’d like. Join us for a fascinating guided tour through the streets of one of New York's most historic communities. Discover the people, places, and events that shaped Palmyra—from remarkable achievements and local legends to unsolved mysteries and heartbreaking tragedies.
Hear tales of devastating fires, shocking crimes, and extraordinary individuals whose lives left a lasting mark on the community. Explore the hidden stories behind familiar landmarks and uncover the truths, rumors, and folklore that have been passed down through generations.

Join us in celebrating our favorite lady's birthday, Miss Sibyl Phelps! Guests are invited to participate in all events for just $50. This package includes a festive party with food, a 10-minute private reading, and a gallery reading with Gregory Nicholas.

*This year, we are also offering time slots for private readings and free special workshops that attendees can join before or after their readings. These workshops will be held at the Historical Museum.
Famous Cemetery Tour
Walk through the cemetery for a meet and greet with some very notable Palmyra Citizens. Refreshments are served after each show. The first show starts at 5:30pm, and the second show is at 7:30pm. Each show will leave promptly so allow extra time. Wear comfy shoes as we will walk up and down uneven terrain, and a flashlight for the darker tour at 7:30pm. Rain or Shine, NO REFUNDS.

The Haunted St. James Hotel- Ghost Stories
Walk through the halls of the historic St. James Hotel, built in 1826. Hear some of the stories of the people who came and went, and those who remain. Fright at the Museum, Murder Mystery Dinner
Our story takes place at the Alling Coverlet and the opening of a new exhibit of the Guardian of Atzul figurine. The figurine is priceless and comes with a curse. Come see our new exhibit, meet our curator, Sinclair Maudsley, and mingle with our guests. Light dinner and drinks will be served. You won't be disappointed. The Burned Over District
Join Historic Palmyra on this fascinating topic and some of the religions that made up the “district”. Admission is free for members, and a suggested donation of $5 is requested for non-members.
Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the lecture beginning at 7:00 PM. Refreshments will be served in the kitchen following the lecture.
Women and the American Revolution
Join Historic Palmyra’s Meghan Leiter as she talks about the women of the American Revolution. Admission is free for members, and a suggested donation of $5 is requested for non-members.
Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the lecture beginning at 7:00 PM. Refreshments will be served in the kitchen following the lecture.
The Fox Sisters
Join Historic Palmyra’s Executive Director, Tracy Murphy, as she talks about the famous Fox Sisters, Margaretta (Maggie) and Catherine (Katie) Fox. Learn how these young girls communicated with spirit in the home in Hydesville (now Newark) and went on to become famous mediums and founders of Modern Spiritualism. Chili and cornbread will be available for the lecture, admission is $10 and includes food.
Shamrocks and Shenanigans at the American Legion
Join Historic Palmyra and Friends of the Sons and Daughters of St.Annes for a (March) Friday the 13th edition of Shamrocks and Shenanigans! Guest DJ Paul Hamilton will be spinning the tunes as you dance the night away! Plenty of food and friends and drinks to go around, tickets are $30pp and available at the museums and online. Groups can call ahead and reserve a table. Dress Code: GREEN.
Black History
Join Historic Palmyra as we explore the important role that African Americans played in Palmyra. This lecture will feature prominent figures such as Jackie Robinson, Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, and more. Admission is free for members, and a suggested donation of $5 is requested for non-members. Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the lecture beginning at 7:00 PM. Refreshments will be served in the kitchen following the lecture.

Vintage Tweets is a touching, amusing, and insightful collection of 100-year-old suffrage postcards, the social media of the late 19th century and early 20th century. Carol Crossed’s entertaining narrative explores the meaning behind the illustrations, which represent both domestic and political views of the woman’s
vote.
