Christopher DiCesare, "Ghost Boy of Geneseo"
April 20, 7-9 pm
$10/person, held at Alling Coverlet Museum, 122 William St., Palmyra
Join Historic Palmyra for an exciting special event with a very special guest, Chris DiCesare! Chris, known as “The Ghost Boy of Geneseo,” went through a life-changing ordeal while living in dorm room C2D1 of Erie Hall at SUNY Geneseo. During his stay he experienced everything from apparitions and voices to physical attacks. While several friends also experienced the mayhem, it was Chris who was the central victim of what would be known as “The C2D1 Haunting.” Starting with a disembodied voice in February 1985 the haunting continued for ten weeks and was recorded by J. Jeff Ungar, who lived next door, in the “C2D1” journal. The haunting quickly spiraled out of control as DiCesare was physically attacked and a priest was brought in to help.
Chris has been featured both on SyFy’s “School Spirits: Dorm Room Nightmare” and EIA Studios’ “Please Talk With Me,” among others. He has also written a memoir of his experiences, “Surviving Evidence: Memoir of an Extreme Haunting Survivor.”
